    This product is perfect for the do it yourself individual looking for a set of heavy duty extra long cables for their hot rod. Made to complement the MDS ignition & 6AL digital box. Installation is a breeze especially if you have the MSD Spark cable crimp tool on hand. The cable kit includes everything you need to complete the job even if you don't own a crimp tool. The product allows for custom look giving you more than enough cable to route it however you decide. I installed this set on my 67 Pontiac 428 and they perform and look great! Always rout the cables away from heat and parallel to each other. This product provides extra protection against arching with included special boots ends. Not all cables are created equal, insist on the best "super conductor 8.5 set" is simply the best you can buy.

    Very high quality product for my show car. My car is a 1940 Ford Tudor Deluxe with a 1942 style 'crab' distributor. It still has the original engine that has been modified to travel at highway speeds. These wires keep all the spark going where it is supposed to go. I would recommend this product above any to keep my engine going strong. It has been bored, 3/4 isky cam, two '97' carbs, Red's headers, 2" dual exhaust, electtronic ignition, all synthethic fluids(Royal purple), k&N air cleaners. It has 17,000 miles since rebuild and runs perfect. Thank you for the fast delivery and fine wires.

    wires seam to be of good quality but didnt match old plugs as advertised the boots dont fit the application for the 460 cu inch engine and renders them useless too much of a pain to clean em and take them back burned again by fits your vehicle

    Good quality wires with low impedence. The Advance listing says to get part 669 if you have male terminal distributor cap. This is not needed - the wires come with both types of terminal types. FYI - pick up some grease to help slip the wire ends into the terminal boots, it's a VERY tight fit and the grease supplied with the wires is not nearly enough to assemble 8 wires.

    Bottom Line recommended

    I'm very happy with my 8mm spiral wires from Accel. Installed in a 94 deville 4.9 and it looks like a factory install other than the labeled wires. My tune up went great and my old car runs smooth and strong again.

    Getting the boots over the wires and then getting the installed distributor-end terminals back inside the boots is quite difficult but doable. But then getting the terminal ends and boots into the distributor sockets is virtually impossible. The boots are too tight to slide over the insulator on the cap, and as a result the terminals do not seat into the cap. Car ran for a brief time, then the terminals pulled out of the distributor cap and that was the end. A better design would be to factory-install the distributor end (which is L-shaped) and let the user install the spark plug end (which is straight).
