Although not necessary for installation, if these hoses would have been marked for which end should go to the radiator, the install would be a little easier. Other than that, what can I say? I just hope these last as long as the manufacturer hoses on my Korean built cars. Those are 14 years old, 180,000 miles and in better shape than what this purchase replaced on this Chevrolet! It is almost as old, but less than half the miles! The coolant system says no coolant change necessary until 105,000 miles! Phooey on that. Had to replace water pump and thermostat last year, now the hoses! Thanks to Advance for helping keep the costs low.

Nothing was right with this hose assembly, Three hoses attached to a plastic Y. The hose from Y to over flow tank was turned the wrong way and was at least 1 1/2 to long, the hose to water pump was turned the wrong way and about 3/8 inch to long and the bottom hosee to lower radiator inlet was turned wrong. I had to cut all the clamps re-position all three sections and cut the two that were to long , buy new clamps and re clamp. Must be very poor quality control from the looks it probably assembled in China. Whay can't we buy quality products made in the USA?

The bend is wrong. I also tried other brands and their bends are wrong as well. If you want a direct fit part your only options is the Dealer. That said, I have used this hose for the past 2 years without issues. It is possible to minimize the kink with a proper cut and twist of the hose.

I bought this for a 1992 525i, baed on the description. This is basically a straight hose with one soft bend. The lower OEM hose on this car is similar, but it also has one or two other gentle bends. I timmed off little bits at a time and tried fitting this hose at least 5 different times. The problem is that every way I trimmed/installed it, the hose would developsome sort of a kink. Knowing the policy against returning damaged goods, I have not tried bringing it back to Advance. I just tossed it in the garbage. I sincerely hope that someone at Advance changes this listing to reflect that the part is not appropriate for the e34 525i.
