Very happy with purchase. After trying a rebuilt one from another vendor that leaked during bench bleed. I was pleased to find dual bleeders that weren't shown in description. I wanted to keep the stock look on on 1969 Vette. Great fit and easy install.plus it's a new unt that was cheap with no core charge.

Junk yard casting. Cap so pitted It is embarrassing. I had to file flat the top of master cylinder surface where cap seals In order to prevent leaks. Only thing available for a weekend repair, otherwise I would have returned. Definitely do not recommend.

The master cylinder was not the same as pictured. I want it for a classic car and the one in the box would have looked obviously out of place. I returned this item.

this worked good after installing it but, i was a little disappointed this is not from a 63' impala like it said. the casting is totally different, it is longer, and there is not a bleeder on top. it is different than the picture. i will keep it but some people only want original parts and this is not one.

Bought for a 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne and the fit was exact. Only issue was it had an incorrect bleeder screw from the remanufacturer. Staff at the store was very helpful in correcting.

Works okbut not a Delco for original restorers. Had to make 50 mile trip to pickup in store and return core because Alliance, Ohio store never has in stock(only 11 miles away). Not a bad price with discount.

The price was good and quality is decent- this beats the cost from major restoration houses and does exactly what a restorer needs- it stops the car.

First two of master cylinders bench bleed went well, but on the car they leaked brake fluid at the booster and kept getting air at the rear wheels. They were swapped out at the store, no problem. When the third master cylinder did the same thing, I disassembled it to understand the issue. The master cylinder bore spec is 1.125"; it measures 1.167", probably re-built several times. The rear piston showed evidence of pitting so I assume it was simply cleaned up and reused. The rear piston wobbles in the bore and the "o" ring supposed to seal the fluid is not sealing in the enlarged bore. Four quarts of brake fluid later and much damage to painted items below the fluid leak, my vehicle still doesn't have functioning brakes. I would recommend this product to any glutton for punishment. My machinist recommended I check for brake fluid in the booster as it can damage the unit internally leading to an unpleasant experience later. Really, locate a new master cylinder, not one that may have been redone too many times.

this item comes with a 5/16...and a 3/8 output...as well as an adapter to convert the 3/8 down to 5/16. however the stock lines are 1/4...and using the adapters it makes it impossible to install new lines (or even stock ones) that clear the inner fender.

You get what you paid for. It leaked worse than the 30+ year old one it was to replace! Also the description said it came with a bench bleed kit - it did not.
