The only tricky part is getting to the bolts that hold the unit to the firewall. Installation was pretty straightforward otherwise. My old brake booster did not hold a vacuum at all and I had to push the pedal extremely hard to stop my truck. (1975 GMC k25 pickup). This fixed it perfectly.

A bit tricky to get at some of the nuts, but that is GM's fault. No wonder they go bankrupt... parts that were easy to assemble would reduce labor costs in the factory, reduce labor costs for repairs at the dealers, and give a vehicle a cult following among home mechanics. So lets stick the mounting nuts behind the boost canister and in a narrow crevice between the booster standoff and a flange or ridge sticking out of the firewall. Studs too long for a standard socket, space too tight for a deep socket, and crevice too narrow to use a box-end wrench. Sheesh.
