BMW Spark Plug Boots

Carquest Premium spark plug boots are engineered to restore ignition boot reliability and performance. They are designed to meet or exceed original equipment (O.E.) specifications for fit, form and function. Our spark plug boots offer excellent heat resistance as well as maximum protection against spark loss. Carquest Premium spark plug boots are built with a durable silicone compound for resistance to high heat and abrasion, resulting in a longer-lasting ignition repair.

NGK tinned copper core wire sets provide excellent OE fit, performance and durability. High-temp premium silicone outer jacket and inner EPDM/silicone insulation contain high voltage currents for excellent dielectric strength. As required on certain European models, NGK utilizes a premium 29 gauge galvanized, tinned core wire. RFI suppression is located close to the source and thus built into NGK’s OE designed spark plug and distributor connectors and metallic resistor boots. Spark plug boots are glued to NGK cable with a silicone sealer for a watertight seal.

NGK Coil on Plug Boots are built to stringent OEM tolerances, combining original equipment fit, design and outstanding durability. NGK Coil on Plug Boots are manufactured using only premium silicone and always include any required internal springs and ferrite resistors for superior performance and RFI noise suppression. Bridging the important link between ignition coil and spark plug, COP boots should always be replaced with NGK Coil on Plug Boots at the time as changing spark plugs to prevent ignition problems such as flashover.
