Ride-Rite air springs utilize a pair of convoluted air springs, which can be adjusted for changing loads. These air springs are capable of 3,200 to 5,000 Pound of load leveling capacity. Ride-Rite air helper springs enhance the ride by reducing inter-leaf friction. Please remember that air springs do not increase the load carrying capacity of your vehicle. Ride-Rite air spring kits are installed between the frame of the vehicle and the suspension, providing load support through the use of air pressure. In addition to forging the keys using High Carbon Steel, the Torsion Key to Torsion Bar tolerances are extremely tight to insure the integrity of the key or Torsion Bar relationship. These tight tolerances GM blue print tolerances from bar to key is 17/1000 THS Increase the surface area contact between the Torsion Key and bar, increasing the strength of the overall design and improving functionality. In order to keep these tight tolerances, occasionally a mallet must be used during installation to fit the Torsion Key on to the bar.
