Hutchinson – Stretch Poly Rib Serpentine Belt (Part No.W1000467496HUT)

Stretch Poly Rib Serpentine Belt

from

$22.29
Hutchinson stretch belts, are specifically designed for 2 to 4 point drives that do not require tensioning. Although these belts may look like standard poly rib belts, they are very different. These specially designed belts have self-tensioning capabilities required by specific original equipment (OE) drives designed for a “stretch” belt. Vehicles that are manufactured with “stretch” belts must replace those belts with “stretch” belts. These belts are not interchangeable with standard constructed belts of the same size. This belt construction incorporates a wear resistant EPDM rib material, along with a highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber that surrounds the polyamide tensile cord, thus providing the required adhesion and flexibility to maintain lasting performance. “Stretch” belts have unique installation instructions depending on the OE application. Installation may require a specialized tool for the application or a simple zip tie. Do not attempt to install by prying the belt on the pulleys. Dayco provides detailed instructions on the reverse side of the sleeve. Dismounting and reusing stretch belts is not recommended. A new belt should be installed anytime one is removed.

Product Features:
  • Wear resistant EPDM rib material
  • Highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber that surrounds the polyamide tensile cord
  • Designed to elongate over the fixed pulley system
  • Provides the proper tension maintenance

MacKay – MacKay Radiator Hose (Part No.G2000457709MKY)

MacKay Radiator Hose

from

$21.34
MacKay utilizes leading edge rubber technology and compounds, supported by in-house processes from rubber mixing to final product. This ensures hoses are made to the strict specifications required for the advanced motor vehicles of the 21st century. In vehicles of today, a hose has to be designed to withstand the stresses of modern, more compact but powerful engines that run hotter and at a higher pressure. Other factors include smaller engine compartments with poor heat dissipation, aggressive coolant additives, and stray (electrochemical) current that may be conducting through the cooling system. In short, the smaller but more powerful engines of today work a lot harder than the larger engines that were standard before. More heat is generated, higher burst pressures are required in cooling system components, and hoses have to be made tougher to withstand these demands. MacKay’s research and development chemists have developed new rubber formulations and manufacturing processes that ensure MacKay hoses meet the greater wear and heat demands created by modern engines. Rubber compounds used in automotive hoses today are predominantly synthetic rubber formulation. All MacKay coolant hoses are made from EPDM compounds that are highly resistant to ozone attack. Hoses made from some other rubber compounds may be subject to ozone deterioration.

Product Features:
  • Excellent resistance to high temperatures
  • Resists chemical attack (oils, fuels etc.)
  • Excellent Ozone resistance
  • Good resistance to abrasion
  • High resistance to vibration

Dayco – Stretch Serpentine Belt: 30.5 "Long, 3 Rib Count, Engineered For High Mileage (Part No.E030305)

Stretch Serpentine Belt: 30.5 "Long, 3 Rib Count, Engineered For High Mileage

from

$22.99
Dayco ela (elastic) or stretch belts are specifically designed for two, three, and four point drives that are designed to use self-tensioning belts. Although these belts may look like standard poly rib belts, they are very different. These specially designed elastic belts have self-tensioning capabilities required by specific OE drives. Vehicles that are manufactured with stretch belts must replace them with stretch belts. These belts are not interchangeable with standard constructed belts of their same size. Dayco ela belts utilize a proprietary EPDM construction that is designed to elongate over the fixed pulley system, and then maintain the required belt tension over the life of the belt. The backbone behind the Dayco ela belt is its specially developed polyamide tensile member, which allows for high elongation required for installation, yet provides the proper tension maintenance properties to transmit the accessory loads demanded for the drive. This belt construction incorporates a wear resistant EPDM rib material, along with a highly elastic EPDM cushion rubber that surrounds the polyamide tensile cord, thus providing the required adhesion and flexibility to maintain lasting performance. Stretch belts have unique installation instructions depending on the OE application. Installation may require a specialized tool for the application or a simple zip tie. Do not attempt to install by prying the belt on the pulleys. Dayco provides detailed instructions on the reverse side of the sleeve.

Product Features:
  • Utilizes a proprietary EPDM construction that is designed to elongate over the fixed pulley system, and then maintain the required belt tension over the life of the belt
