2016 Ford Focus Transmission Control Modules

The original equipment transmission control module (TCM) on select Ford Focus vehicles uses compliant pin connections for critical components. Over time and normal use, the connections can become loose and begin to fail, causing automatic transmission malfunctions. This Dorman OE FIX remanufactured transmission control module features soldered connections on all critical component connections for a more durable and reliable repair. This upgraded module is engineered to restore proper transmission functionality and eliminate erratic, unintentional and failed shifting and shift indicator response and the clicking sound that may be emitted from the gear selector when the vehicle brake is applied. This direct-replacement module is remanufactured in the USA and is designed to seamlessly restore all the original factory features. Engineered to match the fit and function of the OE module, this TCM also features 100% new seals to prevent future corrosion, and has been performance tested against the Ford factory design. Once installed, a simple and brief sequence of adaptive learning steps using a scan tool must be performed to complete the activation of the TCM.
