Hays Twister 3/4 Race performance torque converters are a perfect addition to our line of performance flexplates, clutches, and flywheels. Our 3/4 Race series of torque converters is intended for street/strip combinations, with various stall speed offerings to accommodate any mixture of modifications including higher compression ratios, aftermarket camshafts, aftermarket cylinder heads, lower gear ratios, and vehicle weight loss. The Twister 3/4 Race torque converter perfectly describes a converter suited for an application just shy of Full Race converter.

This HoleShot 3000 fits 1984-93 GM 700R4/4L60 automatic transmissions with 30 spline input shaft. This converter does not retain the lock-up feature. Holeshot torque converters are for serious-minded performance enthusiasts and offer additional strength and durability features not found in our Tork Master or Traveler series of converters. The Holeshot 3000 converter is an excellent choice for vehicles with some performance engine modifications, particularly big cams that tend to reduce low-end power and torque. The higher stall speed of this converter will launch the car in a higher rpm range where more torque is readily available, resulting in quicker acceleration. Holeshot converters feature furnace-brazed impeller fins and turbine, a new precision alloy impeller hub, and new heavy-duty needle bearings. Other features include fully balanced and pressure tested by expert technicians.
