Made In USA. 4 oz. Melling engine assembly lube, MELL-LUBE, is formulated to be an initial lubricant on camshaft metal surfaces as well as related valve train parts. The added zinc material (1400 ppm) provides MELL-LUBE with added protection to prevent scoring and galling during initial engine start-up for both newly rebuilt and / or remanufactured engines. In addition, MELL-LUBE contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust and pitting of components. MELL-LUBE mixes with any engine oil and will not clog filters. Melling recommends MELL-LUBE be a part of every camshaft install.

COMP Cams Tri-Power Xtreme camshafts have been designed to work with the FAST-FLASH programmers to optimize torque and horsepower and improve fuel efficiency. They are available for late model, fuel injected, computer-controlled engines. The COMP Cams Tri-Power Xtreme camshafts work with a standard valvetrain, and require no modifications to install.

Needs extended rev limit and better exhaust, strongest power over 2500 RPM. Requires custom tuning.

The variable valve timing (VVT) system allows the engine control module (ECM) to regulate the intake and exhaust valve phase angle providing the most optimal engine volumetric efficiency under all engine operating condition to control tailpipe emissions and engine efficiency. Variable valve timing is an emission control device and although there are various methods of operation, the typical device is regulated by oil control valves, actuator solenoids and camshaft phasers.
