Advanced Suspension Technology bushings offer a unique polyurethane alternative to conventional rubber suspension bushings. AST bushings are urethane-based and are impregnated with graphite to aid in lubrication and reduce noise. Polyurethane bushings are stronger and last longer than standard rubber bushings. Most modern production vehicles are designed using rubber bushings which have a limited lifespan.
