This Edelbrock cam kit produced 506 HP & 536 ft-lbs. of torque when used with No: 7166 intake and No: 60669 cylinder heads on a 460 engine. The camshaft works well with high-performance’s street applications, Performer RPM cams provide power from 1500 to 6500 rpm. This hydraulic lifter camshaft is dyno-matched to Performer RPM manifolds for high-rpm horsepower while still maintaining acceptable low-end torque. With 10 to 12 inches of manifold vacuum at idle, Performer RPM cams have more lift and duration than most street camshafts. Made In USA. 4 oz. Melling engine assembly lube, MELL-LUBE, is formulated to be an initial lubricant on camshaft metal surfaces as well as related valve train parts. The added zinc material (1400 ppm) provides MELL-LUBE with added protection to prevent scoring and galling during initial engine start-up for both newly rebuilt and / or remanufactured engines. In addition, MELL-LUBE contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust and pitting of components. MELL-LUBE mixes with any engine oil and will not clog filters. Melling recommends MELL-LUBE be a part of every camshaft install.
