It’s easy to overlook the small details. For engine builders focused on the larger components like camshafts, cylinder heads and pistons, small parts are often forgotten until the final stages of engine assembly. COMP Cams Engine Finishing Kits include those often missing parts like woodruff keys, cylinder head alignment dowels, cam bolts, cam eccentrics and timing cover and oil pump dowel pins that are so crucial to properly assembling your engine.

The COMP Cams High Energy Die-Cast Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms are new rocker arms from the valve train leader that have been designed for street and moderate race use. They feature a die-cast body created from aluminum with a needle bearing fulcrum and roller tip. The die-cast, larger than stock body offers the strength properties and light weight of aluminum while the specially engineered fulcrum and roller tip decrease friction and lower oil temperatures, thus improving response and horsepower.

Edelbrock part No: 7811 Performer-Link timing chain is for use with Edelbrock or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. Cam sprockets are made from 35,000 psi tensile strength cast iron. Crank sprockets are made from billet SAE-1144 steel and induction heat treated. Four Performer-Link sets are stock replacement parts and 50-state legal (see listings in bold type). All other sets have three keyway setting points to ensure accurate timing selection for early or late-model vehicles. Performer-Link timing sets are not for use above 6500 rpm. Performer roller chain sets are engineered to operate up to 6500 rpm. Never hammer directly on chain or sprockets. You can crack the hardened links and pins and cause early failures. Use a sleeve for installations that require hammering, a brass drift punch may be used if you carefully alternate blows on either side of the sprocket to avoid cocking. Never stretch the chain with a screwdriver. Check for clearance between the timing chain and block and between the chain and front cover before reassembly. Be sure that both cam and crank sprockets are exactly in line with each other. Misalignment can cause chain to break.

This Mr. Gasket Rear Main Seal is made from silicone to allow the seal to handle extreme engine oil temperature. It is a direct replacement for a factory one-piece rubber main seal. It’s also injection molded for a precise fit.

The Edelbrock valve cover gaskets No: 7569 provide excellent sealing integrity and conformability for easy installation. The multi-layer construction has two highly compressible, high rubber content, fiber-reinforced outside layers which are chemically bonded to a high strength composite core. Mr. Gasket High Performance Thermostats are designed to resist large variations of coolant pressure at high RPM (revolutions per minute).
