This high performance ignition module provides your plugs with more spark over the stock module. The solid state electronics provide high coil out put and superior reliability. The Dwell control circuit ensures, long consistent coil charging. The current control circuit protects against coil over heating. This module fits most Ford Thick Film Ignition systems. 1983 thru 1996.

Direct OEM replacement. Can also be used with an ACCEL, Mallory, Crane, Holley or MSD capacitive discharge ignition system. Special high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration, while increasing thermal conductivity. Brass coil wire contact increases energy efficiency and resists corrosion better than aluminum. Universal street and strip. For street-driven vehicles with breaker point ignition or OE electronic ignition. Delivers optimum performance when used with these Mallory ignition products: UNILITE (R) distributor with a HYFIRE (R) capacitive discharge ignition, magnetic breaker less distributor with a HYFIRE (R) capacitive discharge ignition, or dual point distributor. Effective to approximately 6500 RPM when used with a point type distributor (depending on engine combination). Effective to approximately 8000 RPM when used with a Mallory HYFIRE electronic ignition control (depending on engine combination).

Mallory’s UNILITE (R), and magnetic breaker less ignition modules are self contained module assemblies which have no moving parts to wear out. Using Mallory’s time tested breaker less ignition circuit, combined with modern surface mount thermal-clad construction, these ignition modules can drive both OEM and high performance ignition coils. For best results always use a Mallory PROMASTER coil or a Mallory chrome electronic ignition coil. These are also an excellent choice for triggering one of the Mallory HyFire series of electronic ignition controls. Hookup is as easy as a three wire connection.
