If you're trying to get rid of a broken ignition switch or you lost a key OR you just want a simple solution to a lot of mess and wires, THIS is the answer. Maybe the other critique had a dozen or more accessories and thats why the post was too small for his use but if you look at most other ignition switch, guess what, THERE ARE NO POSTS TO ADD WIRED TO! it's simple, it's easy to replace, it's a quick fix ESPECIALLY if you have an older vehicle like a 1977 Dodge Tradesmen 200 and you were using a screw driver and rubber gloves to start your van. Don't get all judgmental on something that was ment to be a quick fix otherwise you'd of bought the more expensive switch and wired your accessories to the battery like you're supposed to do. Five Stars because it does exactly what its supposed to do.

This item is suposed to be exact fit.The wiring studs are too short,could not get but one wire on the term where the orginal has multiple wires on some of the terminals.you can not mount this in the dash because it is not designed right.Advance auto needs to take a second look at this item
