Made in the USA, this remanufactured carburetor is completely disassembled and all internal parts, such as gaskets, gas filters, needle/seats and accelerator plunger cups, are discarded. All metal castings are thoroughly cleaned and restored to OEM (original equipment manufacturer) finish. Then the carburetor is reassembled to OEM-quality standards using all new component parts. Each carburetor is flow tested to simulate actual engine conditions, and all internal and external adjustments are set to OEM specifications.

These carburetors that are intended for use with superchargers, and have a unique capability that allows their power Valves to reference the intake Manifold vacuum below the supercharger. This allows the power valve to operate as it should, based off intake manifold vacuum. A power valve provides further enrichment to the main metering system under load (low vacuum) conditions. Without this external referencing, the power valve would be reading the Supercharger boost pressure, which has no bearing on the engine load.

Holley engineers have taken the state-of-the-art Gen 3 Ultra carburetors and created a budget friendly version that is perfect for street/strip applications as well as all out bracket or sportsman drag cars. The new Holley SP Dominator carburetors feature the patent pending Gen 3 main-body which is 5/16″ taller than the previous generation! This new height allowed for larger radius air entries to deliver smoother flow that equates to improved throttle response and consistency. An extended air cleaner flange is incorporated for easy air scoop attachment when using the available air scoop adapter. The Street HP uses the best features from Holley’s race Bred 4150 HP carbs, but tamed for street and light competition use. The contoured main body from the 4150 HP has a tumble polished shiny finish. The metering system includes a timed spark port for a vacuum advance distributor and is calibrated for a hot street and strip engine setup for outstanding throttle response and drivability.
