    Broken CV

    By

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

Broke on the interstate while driving on flat terrain. Only used for a few months with low milage on the vehicle. Easy to install and affordable but I guess I got a lemon. Everyone else has told me they have had great luck with this product in the past. Professionally installed. Frustrating to do the same job again in less than 6 months.

The axel looks good and came with all hardware, nothing to swap over from your old one. Install was pretty easy and now the truck isn't spewing grease from the torn boots.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this axle again. Thought about getting OEM axle rebuilt but this offering makes the OEM option less desirable.
