If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 90 days from the date of purchase to any Advance Auto Parts store with the original receipt. Items must be in original packaging and in new condition. Advance Auto Parts will exchange the product or issue a refund as described below. Some merchandise, including commercial tools and equipment and special order items may be non-refundable. Clearance and “AS IS” merchandise are non-refundable.
Advance Auto Parts reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges at any time, for any reason.

To return or exchange an item, you will be required to present a valid photo ID (see below for the types of ID that we accept) that will be recorded at the time of the return. Information from your ID will be retained in a company-wide database of customer return activity that Advance Auto Parts and its affiliates use to authorize returns.
We accept the following IDs for returns: Driver’s License, State ID, Military ID, Permanent Resident Card or Border Crossing Card.
Returns will not be accepted without a valid ID. A merchandise credit card may be issued for purchasing new merchandise. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
You can find a copy of your receipt in your Order Confirmation email as well as in the Your Order Status section of Your Account. If you did not register with us and cannot locate your Order Confirmation email, please contact Customer Care.
Core returns need to be for the exact part purchased and cannot be damaged. Fluids must be drained. Please see our Core Charge policy for more information.
Your warranty is valid for the stated period of time printed on your sales receipt. Please see our Limited Warranty Policy for specific details
Online purchases can be returned to any Advance Auto Parts store within 90 days from the date of purchase. Bring original packaging and your receipt, Order Confirmation email or Merchandise Return Form. All refunds will be credited back to you via the same payment method used for your original order. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable except in case of returns due to our error.
