FRAM Type F ATF is specially formulated to provide the unique shifting requirements of all Ford transmissions manufactured prior to 1977 and some manufactured between 1977 and 1980. These transmissions require a high-friction fluid that will allow the shifting clutches to lock-up or engage quickly.
