      So far, so good. . This seems to be an EXACT match to the original on my 2006 Scion TC(16 years old). Same markings on casting as original. People break these changing belts all the time...This tensioner must be released slowly. Cheater bar on a ratchet with a 19mm socket, but pull slowly until it stops, then no more. It's only aluminum. But just a heads up...this part is really hard to change out!! Warning... on a Scion TC and probably all of the toyota 2AZFE 2.4 engines this fits, you will need to take the passenger side wheel and access panel off to reach the bottom nut of the tensioner. Then you will likely need to lower the engine to remove the passenger side engine mount(after removing it's bolts) and then raise the engine enough to get the tensioner's mounting bolt out. There is not enough clearance in the engine bay to back the bolt out without doing this! I did it without any problems, but it sucked. Youtube videos helped quite a bit so do your research before starting. Not fun, borrowed a second jack to use with a block of wood under the oil pan. Engine mount bracket was a pain to get out of the way and ended up replacing the rusty engine mount too. Bottom line, this part was perfect and compared to the remanufactured stuff these days, it was a pleasant surprise.
