Worked and fixed the check engine light. Although the first place had two, but one was obviously returned and NOT new, didn't take it and went to another place that had one as well to replace both.

Replaced 2003 Toyota 4Runner OEM sensor because VSC & Engine Light came on. The error code P0031 displayed on the code reader. After installing the new oxygen sensor, the VSC & Engine Light turned off automatically. You may NOT have to recalibrate the "zero Point" settings, so be aware/save you some time. NOTE: After installing the new sensor, the heat from the exhaust will burn the anti-seize compound causing it to smoke and smell a little. It's normal and will go away. 🙂

Direct fit for a Lexus GX470. Got a shop to read my Check Engine Light Code for free. It pointed to P0031 which was Bank 1 Sensor 1 or Top Left Pre Catalytic converter. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is post cat. Bank 2 Sensor 1 is top right side pre cat and Bank 2 sensor 2 is right post cat or bottom. Find which one it is, unplug the old old, unscrew it, screw in this new one, plug it in. Job Done. That easy. Spend the extra few bucks for the direct fit, that comes with plug. Universal fit isn't worth it, you save a few dollars to crimp the sensor on the old plug. Could be the plug bad too just get the whole unit in one shot.

Purchased the DENSO Part # 234-4154 (OE Style; Downstream; RWD; DENSO is the O.E. Manufacturer / Oxygen Sensor). I got the P0161 code, 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2 on my 2000 Tundra (4.7L V8). Had to use PB Blaster and a torch to loosen the nuts off the bolts (ended up replacing them). You can see from the photo that the sensor looks pretty close to the old one. I have had both of my down stream O2 sensors replaced over the years by other mechanics. The job to replace this was pretty easy, except for the condition of the nuts. I have taken 2 long test rides, the code has not come back on - problem solved.

After trouble shooting a faulty 02 sensor in my son's '94 Toyota 4x4, I went with Advance Auto Parts, giving me the option to go OE(Denso) direct fit on this part while also getting it on sale. The other "guy" didn't carry Denso in stock with very little discount/sale options on their generic brands. Thanks AAP

I like to use only OEM parts on my 1991 Toyota and Advance Auto almost always has what I need to make my own repairs when needed. I have 494000+ miles on my 1991 Toyota SR5 4X4 Extended Cab Pickup and I want to keep it running strong for 1 million miles+. Advance Auto Stores have very helpful and courteous counter staff who provide me with the answers to questions I may have along with great service. Whether in a brick and mortar store or online I get great deals when I buy and Speed Perks too. Thanks for being there when I need parts or help with my projects. I hope and believe Advance Auto will be there for a long long time because they are tip top in auto parts!

The product came with easy to read and understand instructions for installation. Installation was an ease. The product matched up great and works wonderful. My only complaint is my old O2 sensor which made my check enginelight come on gave me better MPG than the new one. A little disappointed but I guess my engine may need a little tuning.

Quick fix for check engine light in 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L 4x4.Started as P0030 Bank 1 sensor 1 as it started to fail. Then when the sensor died all together it turned into P0126 Insufficient coolant temp for closed loop fuel control. Read that this is caused by the pre catalitic converter O2 sensor in early model computers (pre2003). Installed and fixed the problem.

I purchased this sensor after replacing my exhuast. The harness is not long enough to reach my vehicle connector. Probably a simple part # mix up or issue specific to my vehicle, but the no return policy is a turn off on an item so expensive that I will not be able to use.

I am giving this comment to stars due to the fact that the vehicle look up and the in-store computer both showed this as the only option for my Toyota. After installing it the little tabs on the connector were in different spots so it would not plug-in and they would not except it for a return. Double check the plug before connecting, don't trust the system. I understand I should have looked at it before installing but trusted the vehicle look up. I am not an experienced mechanic and that's why I bought it at the store and tried to fix it myself but definitely learned a lesson.

Worked greatwith little to no issues. If this is your first universal fit part, read the instruction 3 or 4 types before you cut any wires. Also cut wire length as indicated, the extra length will make it easier to put together.

Chatted with an agent and also verified with the CSA at the store that the part would fit. I got it back home. Went to replace the upstream O2 sensor an the length of the wires was short by about 5 inches. This will not fit a 2004 Toyota Camry XLE (as stated by the website, online agent, and in store associate). Also, when they tell you to try the universal one- DON'T DO IT!!! It fits and the ease of use is fine, but it will throw your check engine light. Just spend the extra money and buy the OEM one. Don't waste your time. Then you won't have to go through the mess that this situation is putting me in!
