I LOVE K&N every filter on my "2003 F250" is a K&N filter, Oil filter, Fuel filter and my favorite my COLD AIR INTAKE. I wanted to see what K&N could bring to the table to help increase towing power because I have the little Wimpy 5.4 triton in a super duty and I gotta say with the cold air intake it improved everything especially downshifts going uphill and accelerating onto the freeway. And with the Fuel filter I noticed much faster cold start times and way quicker throttle response and higher Rpm's came much easier to the truck now after the filter. And with the oil filter your not going to notice much of a difference because well it's an oil filter I purchased the oil filter just to show I'm a true K&N Supporter

Simply amazed with this product. Definitely better than stock, added an excellent amount of horsepower and torque. Also, to my surprise, it added an additional 3 1/2 mpg. It was easy to install following the diagram and a YouTube video made by K&N Filters. Total install took me an hour and a half. There is a noticeable difference immediately. With the improved throttle response my vehicle now has a more aggressive GRRR sound. Totally cool upgrade and worth the money for sure.

DescriptionThe K&N 77-9016KP high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit some Toyota Tacoma models. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow. The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine's RPM range. The 77-9016KP air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor, idle air vent line (where equipped) and a replacement silicone fuel pressure regulator vent line and EVAP canister vent line. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, ratchet set and several wrenches. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the K&N catalog or website for vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

This makes driving my truck more fun. My dad heard the intake over the phone before I told him I had got the intake. My gas pedal is way more responsive, I like the deeper tones that the engine makes and the sounds of colder air being sucked in. Awesome!

Recently purchased a 2006 V6 4 Runner Sport Edition. Love the truck but gas mileage and engine performance were just ok. I was getting 18.5 to 19.5 in town if I was careful. Just installed the K & N Air Charger System. I'm not a great mechanic but still found it relatively simple with your directions. It's hard for me to believe but gas mileage has increased to 23.5 to 24 if I can keep my foot out of it. Love the engine sound. Everything about the vehicle is smoother and with the price of gas this will pay for itself in no time. The truck is quicker off the start and pulls much harder all the way through the power band. You guys claim an increase of 9.5 HP but the seat of my pants say your selling yourself short. Love the product.
