Purchased for my modded 2018 WRX because I drive in northern Vermont in the winter where cold cranking power is needed in sub-zero weather. It fits perfectly and has been super reliable. The sealed AGM design and long life is also appreciated and the higher cost of a super premium battery is well worth it for my purposes.

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 S and after the factory battery lasted only 3 years, I replaced it with Interstate MX35 since it has a 5 year warranty, but when it died 4 years later, I learned that it's only a full replacement for the first 2 years, and then year 3-5 is a prorated amount. So they only discounted the replacement battery like 15%. That battery then only lasted 2 years and they did a free replacement. And that 2nd battery lasted only 3 years, so got another Interstate at a 45% discount. Now this 3rd Interstate battery lasted 3 years and started to go out a few months ago. I got it fully charged and lasted 4 months and then completely would not hold a charge. At this point I decided I didn't want another Interstate because they are only lasting on average 3 years. My mom's 2005 Camry had been using Die Hard batteries and they lasted longer, and when one died two months before the 4 year full warranty would expire, it was replaced for free. So I decided to go with the same Die Hard Platinum battery with a full 4 year warranty. I have been using it work a week now with no problems. Have also noticed the car seems to have more "get up and go" acceleration than when I had been using the Interstate. This is probably due to this one have more amperage. Hopefully I get at least a full 4 years or more on this Die Hard Platinum battery, but if it does go bad within 4 years, they will replace it for free. My only issue was that when I did the online order for my local store, and I went to pick it up, they only had 1 left and it had a manufacturing date of Oct 2020, almost 2 years ago. This was not good, and I had them call the other store a few miles away, and they had ones with Sept 2022 manufacturing date. So the store I did the order for had to cancel it, and I had to go to the other store to buy the battery there.

The service was outstanding. I didn't even have to get out of my car -- just drove into the parking lot in front of the store, called to check in, and sat there while they installed it. Took about 15 minutes.

Easy to install....but for a small battery it is heavy! (I know it depends on the number of plates.) But after my car sat in below 0 weather for 6 days it started immediately with this little gem in place.

I bought the battery a week ago, and now Advance wants me to review it. The car has started easily each time I've turned the key. So, after a week, no problems. Does that help anyone? I hope so!

Battery works just fine as expected. Granted, the one I got looked nothing like what is pictures on the website but it was an exact fit for my 2015 Prius including the venting hole/hose that passes any acid through the chassis. Works just fine, I'm content.

My car is a 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE. The 12V battery is mounted beneath the floor at the rear of the car, within the passenger compartment. It's held in place by a metal frame that allows virtually no leeway in terms of the dimensions (height, length, width) of the battery. This DieHard is a perfect match for the OEM battery: size of the battery, size of the positive and negative posts, and location of the vent hole are identical to the OEM battery. It's only a week since I installed it, but so far so good: My car is once again running normally. The dealer wanted $90 more for an OEM replacement that has 85 fewer cranking amps. Two bits of advice: Make sure this is the battery for your car before purchase. For my car's model year Toyota used batteries from two different size groups for RAV4 Hybrids. They are apparently not interchangeable. Second: Verify with your local Advance Auto whether they will install it for free. My local store would not (and neither would the dealer's Service Dept if I had bought one from them). In a RAV4 Hybrid, it's not fun changing the battery. It's much more involved than changing out a battery in your engine compartment.

Although the battery posts are properly orientated and width and height fit into the rear compartment of my 2017 Rav4 Hybrid (non premium sound) just fine. The posts are too thin. I wasn't going to put out $250 for something I would have to Jerry rig for a solid electrical connection. The clerk at Advance checked my "old" original battery and it checked out OK so I just put it back in and have my fingers crossed it holds up. When it does eventually fail I guess I'll have to deal with the dealer...yuck. I do have a portable jump starter just in case.

My battery is brand new but I wanted to share some info about removing the white plastic vent plug on this battery: This battery comes with a white plastic plug that covers the battery's vent hole. (My vehicle features a tube with a plastic elbow you need to insert into that battery vent hole. The elbow has a tab on it, intended to slide into a slot on the black plastic surrounding the vent hole.) It was unclear how to best remove this plug without potentially damaging the surrounding plastic on the vent. I asked several people at Advance Auto, both locally and on their help line, as well as someone with Diehard and nobody was familiar/could offer experienced guidance. I used a small, flat-bladed jeweler's screwdriver to carefully pry up the white tabs on the plug-a little bit on each side of the plug. That was enough to raise the plug so I could get needle-nose pliers on a larger portion of the plug and pull it out without the plastic just deforming and tearing away (I originally just tried needle-nose pliers and the plastic tore. I was concerned about it deforming to the point where it might get permanently stuck in place). I hope this helps somebody.
