I use the v-belt, top cog belt for my old garage door opener. It's top cog design is unique and helps dissipate heat and lower turning resistance. Not only is the belt top class, so was the price and the extremely fast delivery to my home! Unbelievable 3 hours from when I ordered it!

Dayco are the best belts period. This "V-belt" performed better than any other "V-belt" brand that I have ever used. Yes, Dayco is more expensive, but to stop the slipping and squealing they are worth it.

Also known as Dayco Upgrades. Still going strong on my '84 Toyota Supra. However my alternator is acting erratic going from 10 volts up to 18 volts. I kept a spare set of new belts I ordered from Advanced Auto parts back in February of 2015. Today I swap out my alternator, and of course, use my new spare belts. Ordering another spare set. Thank you Advanced Auto Parts.

After dealing with a completely unimaginative store manager in Spring Hill Florida, I complained to the CEO of Advance Auto Parts. He responded quickly, and to compensate me for my trouble and aggravation the order (for an A/C Power Steering belt & Alternator Water Pump belt)was rectified by customer service and I received the parts in two (2) days; all at NO CHARGE to me! Way to go Advance Auto Parts!!!

Appears to be much heavier duty than the (1972 VW Beetle) fan belt purchased from your...ahem....competitor just a few months ago which would stretch from "being tight enough to grind generator bearings to dust" to "loose enough to barely spin generator" within days of each shim adjustment....until finally at "maximum tightness" with ALL shims between pulley halves removed, you could practically spin the generator just by blowing on it.

On my 1999 Nissan Frontier with the 2.4L engine the belt does fit and will work. However, it is either too long or stretches too much and you run out of adjustment before it gets tight enough not to squeal. I have tried several after-market brands and they all have had the same problem. They seem to be good quality belts, and I would recommend in an emergency, but I always have to buy an original Nissan belt to get rid of the squeal from the power steering.

I have tried a few different after-market belts for the power steering on my 1999 Nissan Frontier with the 2.4 L engine. Each brand I have tried will work in an emergency, but they all squeal because they are either too long to begin with or they stretch too much. The quality of the belt seems quite good, but you run out of adjustment before it gets tight enough not to slip and squeal. In every instance I have had to go back to original Nissan belt to stop the squeal. I would purchase in an emergency again, but it would be temporary.

This belt is not even close. This "exact fit" belt is 34 inches long. The original belt is 57.5 inches.
