I at one point replaced the MAP sensor in my car with an aftermarket part because it was in stock at the store and I could replace it in the parking lot. I don't remember what brand it was, but it didn't last very long. Maybe a year. When I turn on my A/C the compressor would kick on then off unless I brought the RPM up until it was ready to stay stable at idle. I got a DTC for the MAP sensor but I didn't think it was that part that caused the problem. I thought it was something else causing it to trip a code. After replacing the MAP sensor with this brand part not only does it run better, but I also do not have that constant cycle of the A/C kicking on and off. It just turns on and works like it should. Folks certain parts should be replaced with OEM quality parts. Don't skimp out with something like this with aftermarket. The map sensor works by flexing continuously millions of times in order to read vacuum pressure and is very essential to keeping your engine running correctly. It is worth the extra money to have something made to withstand what it has to do to keep a consistently accurate reading.

I was happy to find an OEM part at Advance instead of going to a dealer.

Needed this sensor for repacement. Stock repacement sensor. Called around and found it. The price was half of any of the other parts stores.
