ARP offers two styles of Flywheel bolts: premium grade Pro Series, with a 200,000 psi rating and High Performance, with a 180,000 psi rating. They are both heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining, feature an exclusive, flat, 12-point head design and larger than stock shank diameter for increased strength and improved flywheel register. Kits include washers and nuts where applicable.

Flywheel and flex plate bolts play an important role in the performance and safety of race cars and street machines alike. Both feature an exclusive, flat, 12 point head design and larger than stock shank diameter for increased strength and improved flywheel register. The popular High Performance series is rated at 180,000 PSI, and the premium grade Pro Series, originally developed for NASCAR competition, has a 200,000 PSI rating.

Pairing your clutch set with a new LuK flywheel is a smart, cost-effective alternative to resurfacing. All new – never remanufactured – every component is engineered and manufactured to OE specifications, including ring gear and dowel pins.

Vehicles with automatic transmissions have a flex plate. The flex plates connects the engine and transmission. Most flex plates are made of a thick piece of sheet metal with bolt holes for the torque converter and teeth for the starter. The job of a flex plate is to allow for expansion of the torque converter as engine RPM increases. The constant expansion and contraction of a flex plate over time can result cracks and/or shearing of the flex plate. A damaged flex plate can create serious (expensive) damage. Broken flex plates can not be repaired, they must be replaced. ATP flex plates are made of high quality steel and contain the correct bolt hole spacing and ring gear teeth just like the original part to ensure long life and durability
