The Edelbrock No: 5792 Sure Seat Valve Spring for Chrysler 383-400-413-440 V8 1969-79 O.E Cast iron cylinder heads are made of highest quality spring wire and precision wound to close tolerances, our Sure Seat Valve Spring sets are for use on original equipment heads when installing Edelbrock Performer-Plus, Performer RPM and Torker-Plus camshafts. These are the same high-performance springs used on Edelbrock Performer and RPM cylinder heads. For camshaft warranty compliance, use only the springs recommended by Edelbrock for each camshaft application.

These grade 5 hex head bolts are brite zinc plated for protection and appearance. Hardened flat washers provide uniform torque & prevent galling on aluminum manifolds. Includes twelve (12) 3/8 inch-16 x 1 inch bolts & washers.

This allows them to fully open at correct temperature consistently regardless of engine RPM. The design also provides the high flow that engines operated a higher RPM need. Edelbrock part No: 7325 head gasket is intended for big block Chrysler engines. This gasket comes as a set and is for 1959-1978 engine sizes 361-383-400-413-426 (except Hemi), and 440 engines only. This has a 4.450 bore size, .038 compressed thickness and 9.69 cc volume.

This heat-treated double row chain replaces the chain that comes with our Magnum 2104 timing set for ’56-’79 Chrysler single-bolt 383-440 as well as our 2109 timing set for ’60-’73 Chrysler 3-bolt 383-440/426 HEMI.

Edelbrock part No: 7805 Performer-Link timing chain is for use with Edelbrock or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. Cam sprockets are made from 35,000 psi tensile strength cast iron. Crank sprockets are made from billet SAE-1144 steel and induction heat treated. Four Performer-Link sets are stock replacement parts and 50-state legal (see listings in bold type). All other sets have three keyway setting points to ensure accurate timing selection for early or late-model vehicles. Performer-Link timing sets are not for use above 6500 rpm. Performer roller chain sets are engineered to operate up to 6500 rpm. Never hammer directly on chain or sprockets. You can crack the hardened links and pins and cause early failures. Use a sleeve for installations that require hammering, a brass drift punch may be used if you carefully alternate blows on either side of the sprocket to avoid cocking. Never stretch the chain with a screwdriver. Check for clearance between the timing chain and block and between the chain and front cover before reassembly. Be sure that both cam and crank sprockets are exactly in line with each other. Misalignment can cause chain to break.
