    For 2002 bmw 325i it was bigger then the one I took out of the air box it was such a tight fit i could keep seeing the edge sticking out the cover no matter how hard i tried to get it in completely it has the extra layer of filter protection on it which makes it bigger then usual I got it to fit as good as I could

    Even though the contents claim it has a tether, it doesn't. I special ordered it to pick up at store, no tether. The manager said if it doesn't show in picture regardless of contents, more than likely, it doesn't come with one. The other exact matches (2), weren't immediately available. Ended up getting it at another auto store right behind this one with a tether.

    MEL came on because original (100K+) fuel cap was worn out. Bought this one and found only intermittent relief. Lamp would stay off for a couple of days only. Had to reurn it and buy the OEM one with the lanyard. May work for some applications; didn't for ours.
