MSD is excited to offer two ready-to-run distributors for two classic Ford engines. These distributors are the answer to weak breaker points or rebuilt aftermarket models. Inside the billet housing there is a high-output ignition module. When the maintenance-free magnetic pick-up signals the module to fire, up to 7.5 amps is sent to the coil where a powerful spark is created. This improved spark output results in quick starts, snappy throttle response and terrific drivability. The distributors are equipped with a vacuum advance canister for cruising economy. Plus, there is a mechanical advance assembly that is mounted on top of the distributor shaft making it easy to adjust the advance to meet your needs. Another great feature of the ready-to-run distributors is their simple installation. All you need to do is connect three wires and you’ll be cruising.

Edelbrock camshafts are matched to Edelbrock Total Power Package components for proven performance, taking the guesswork out of camshaft selection. They are compatible with OEM or Edelbrock hydraulic roller tappets which reduce friction, virtually eliminate break-in problems, and permit higher valve velocities for increased performance. Designed to work with Torker II manifolds for performance from 2500 to 6500 RPM, these camshafts are ideal for high-performance street, drag or marine applications. Torker-Plus cams have a slightly rough idle and are not suitable for trucks or towing applications. Hydraulic flat tappet lifters are included with each camshaft.

If you are looking to upgrade your stock coil, or want to compliment the performance of your MSD blaster ignition, MSD 5, 6 or 7, the blaster coil line is the right choice. All of the blaster coils are designed for improved spark output. Special 100:1 windings are used to provide maximum build-up of voltage. These windings are held secure and kept cool in an oil filled metal canister. The tower assembly is molded of durable alkyd material due to its high dielectric characteristics while wide spaced brass primary terminals prevent the possibility of spark. There are several versions of the blaster coil available. All of them have the same internal specifications, but have different housings or components. Each blaster coil can be used with a stock ignition, blaster ignition, MSD 5, 6 or 7 ignition control. Most late model vehicles with electronic ignitions do not require a ballast resistor, check your ignition and manufacturers specifications to determine if a ballast is required in your application.

Mallory’s UNILITE (R), and magnetic breaker less ignition modules are self contained module assemblies which have no moving parts to wear out. Using Mallory’s time tested breaker less ignition circuit, combined with modern surface mount thermal-clad construction, these ignition modules can drive both OEM and high performance ignition coils. For best results always use a Mallory PROMASTER coil or a Mallory chrome electronic ignition coil. These are also an excellent choice for triggering one of the Mallory HyFire series of electronic ignition controls. Hookup is as easy as a three wire connection.

Distributor Condenser

Mr. Gasket High Performance Thermostats are designed to resist large variations of coolant pressure at high RPM (revolutions per minute). This allows them to fully open at correct temperature consistently regardless of engine RPM. The design also provides the high flow that engines operated a higher RPM need. This thermostat also features a copper/brass construction to further resist corrosion. The Edelbrock part #41603 Classic Series Valve Covers are designed for Ford 221-351W V8 1962-95 applications and have a Black finish. Edelbrock first made these aluminum valve covers in the late ’50s and they’re still a classic. Made of heavy-gauge sand-cast aluminum, Overall height is measured from base to top at the highest point. Edelbrock classic valve covers can be machined to accept breathers if desired.
