The EFI fuel rails are machined for -8AN O-ring fittings with passages large enough to accommodate high fuel flow and dampen pressure pulsations in the fuel system and come standard with EFI Hi-Ram kits.

“Edelbrock part #7179 Victor EFI intake manifold is designed for the “”Eagle or WT”” Chrysler 5.7L, 6.1L and 6.4L Gen III HEMI engines with fuel injection. The overall design is similar to the factory 6.1L SRT intake manifold, but with longer higher flowing runners and features relocated fuel injector bosses for improved flow and added nitrous bosses along the near vertical runners. The front inlet can accommodate the factory style 80mm throttle body or the 92mm Hellcat throttle body. In testing, the Victor EFI prototype made 25 hp over the stock intake manifold on a 6.4L engine. Manifold will clear most hoods without modifications. When the original equipment intake manifold warps, cracks or fails on certain Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles and generates an intake manifold runner control (IMRC) code, it can often be caused by a failed IMRC shaft. This Dorman OE FIX intake manifold features upgrades to the factory IMRC shaft design for a longer-lasting repair. Improvements include a redesigned IMRC shaft that’s square, not cylindrical, with the flapper secured to the shaft via a square, slot-through feature rather than the factory’s failure-prone screw-in style. This OE FIX manifold also features an additional support column at each runner location, and additional shielding to better protect the IMRC motor junction from harmful debris.

On certain vehicles with Chrysler EcoDiesel V6 engines, soot buildup in the intake manifold can cause a severe loss of power, smoke, and a burning smell. A dealer recall addresses failing EGR coolers on some EcoDiesel’s, but even if a cooler has been repaired under warranty, it may have already caused problems downstream that aren’t immediately noticeable. Soot can accumulate inside the manifold, preventing proper operation of the IMRC system, while regeneration cycles to help clean the diesel particulate filter add even more soot and heat from the EGR system. Ultimately the soot buildup acts as an insulator, causing trapped heat to warp the manifold and create a leak. Manifold runners and the MAP sensor can also be damaged or melted, creating a burning polymer residue that adds to the fouling of the IMRC system. This upgraded Dorman OE FIX intake manifold features a deeper, more protective skirt on the sensor shroud, allowing the MAP sensor to be located farther out of the path of hot EGR gases. These engineering improvements can more effectively divert EGR heat and soot through the intake for a more reliable repair than the original design. This manifold can also help reduce cost by allowing still-functional sensors to be swapped into the new manifold, vs. the OEM replacement which can only be purchased with the MAP sensor, IMRC motor, and both runner sensors.

The RPM Air-Gap intake manifold incorporate the same race-winning technology as our Victor Series competition intakes. The air-gap design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil for a cooler, denser charge and more power.
