Carquest Premium spark plug boots are built with a durable silicone compound for resistance to high heat and abrasion, resulting in a longer-lasting ignition repair.

They are designed to meet or exceed OE design requirements, performance, fit, form and function of the OE wire. Stainless steel magnetic winding delivers maximum voltage to the spark plug for more powerful, and longer spark resulting in optimum engine performance while reducing the chance for misfire, and eliminating radio static.

NGK Coil on Plug Boots are built to stringent OEM tolerances, combining original equipment fit, design and outstanding durability. NGK Coil on Plug Boots are manufactured using only premium silicone and always include any required internal springs and ferrite resistors for superior performance and RFI noise suppression. Bridging the important link between ignition coil and spark plug, COP boots should always be replaced with NGK Coil on Plug Boots at the time as changing spark plugs to prevent ignition problems such as flashover.

NGK variable pitch resistor cables provide uniform resistance and ensure outstanding electrical conductivity in high-quality cables. Outer EPDM/silicone jacket and inner insulation contain high voltage currents for excellent dielectric strength. Spark plug boots are glued to NGK cable with a silicone sealer for a watertight seal. Stainless steel terminals utilizing up to 3 serrated crimps bite into cable jacket and inner insulation for the highest terminal retention strength (wherever possible). Locking C-shaped spring clip with corrosion-resistant plating ensures a secure and positive spark plug terminal connection.
