K&N’s Universal Air Filters are designed and manufactured for a wide variety of applications including racing vehicles, radio-controlled cars, generators, snowmobiles, tractors, and other applications. Regardless of the angle or offset diameter of the air intake, there is probably a K&N Universal air filter for your equipment. All filters are constructed with ultra-strong molded pliable rubber flanges which absorb vibration and allow for secure attachment and can also be stretched for up to 1/16 of an inch (1.5mm) to fit in-between sizes. Three Layer Performance Air Filters:These 360-degree radial flow air filters feature our oil-free Pro DRY S media with three layers of synthetic media for maximum convenience. Their progressive layering provides great filtration efficiency and dust holding capacity, while not requiring the use of oils. This media is best suited for street use. Their inverted top makes for more filter surface area, resulting in longer service intervals.One-Piece Housings:The included performance air filters are surrounded by open-element XLPE polymer (cross-linked polyethylene) housings that minimize warm engine air for maximum performance. The open design allows for easy viewing of the air filter, yet blocks out heat when the hood is closed. The AEM 21-819 Performance Cold Air Intake System replaces both the left And right side housings. This air intake was designed to fit some Infinity Q50 And Q60 models. Both banks uses an oval shaped AEM Dryflow Air Filter. The filter media is made from a synthetic fiber that does not require oiling. The filter also provides excellent filtration And has great air flow. Maintenance is easy since the filter can be used up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions).
