This Beehive Valve Spring Kit for LS engines is designed for hydraulic roller cams and includes carefully matched Beehive Springs, steel retainers, locks, seals and spring seats. With a .625″ maximum lift, these Beehive Valve Springs deliver increased valve train stability and a much lighter valve train. This is achieved with less spring pressure for better valve control and reduced weight of both the spring and retainer. The unique Beehive shape handles valve train stress more efficiently to eliminate damaging harmonics and increases high RPM horsepower and durability. Torque Converter – Traveler Converter with 2000 RPM Stall Speed APPLICATION: GM 4L80E The Traveler converter is intended for use in motorhomes, tow vehicles or other heavy duty applications where a slightly higher stall speed is helpful in getting the vehicle moving. The Traveler is also stronger than a stock converter and has been internally modified to provide about 300 rpm more stall speed for help in initial acceleration without sacrificing normal highway operation. It is manufactured to B&M’s exacting tolerances for long life. Provides slightly higher stall speed than stock to improve pulling power at low speeds. Many modifications, particularly big cams, tend to reduce low end power and torque. The high stall converter allows the engine to launch the car at higher rpm where more torque is available. The Holeshot is generally a very good choice for the typical street machine that is looking for better launch capability and more strength. Street rods with modified engines will also benefit from a Holeshot converter. If your vehicle is equipped with a plate type nitrous system, you will need a Nitrous Holeshot!! Stall speed listings are based on engines producing 230lb. ft. of torque at 2,500 rpm.
