GENERAL SEAL

Made In USA. Melling engine assembly lube, MELL-LUBE, is formulated to be an initial lubricant on camshaft metal surfaces as well as related valve train parts. The added zinc material (1400 ppm) provides MELL-LUBE with added protection to prevent scoring and galling during initial engine start-up for both newly rebuilt and / or remanufactured engines. In addition, MELL-LUBE contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent rust and pitting of components. MELL-LUBE mixes with any engine oil and will not clog filters. Melling recommends MELL-LUBE be a part of every camshaft install.

The ECM uses this information to determine fuel and spark timing as well as VVT operation. A failed sensor can result in a check engine light, hard starting or failure to start, increased vehicle emissions and engine misfire. They sense the speed and position of a target created with various sense features that are machined, stamped, drawn, or magnetically encoded. They can sense speeds as low as zero RPM. Delphi Speed and Position Sensors feature silicon Hall sense elements. The sensor assembly uses proven design features and assembly processes to provide a reliable solution in demanding automotive environments. The sensor design is modular to enable re-use of proven components and to provide low risk package modifications for new applications. They utilize an adaptive threshold control scheme providing robust performance that improves the air gap capability and reduces the placement accuracy requirements between the sensor and the target.
