    Bought and installed alternator in July 2022 and was working intermittently by January 2023 and failed completely by February 2023. Was surprised alternator did not last that long and was trying to troubleshoot other issues thinking, "it couldn't possibly be the alternator, because I just replaced it." Had the battery replaced, drive belt and belt tensioner. Checked continuity in all electrical connections and it all checked out. Bought a remanufactured Denso alternator and immediately the charging problem was fixed. At this point I've driven the car for one week (about 300 miles) and have had no issues with the charging system. Beware of cheaper alternators. Spend a little more and actually get the problem fixed.

    Bottom Line not recommended

    Installed this not even a week ago and it's not working properly. Going to return it for another one because we only have one vehicle and we need it to get to the hospital for my husband's cancer treatment.

    Start with, I've only had it installed for a little over a week, so no long term info yet. Have used same brand alternator on another vehicle in the past without any long term issues, so don't expect to need the lifetime warranty. Installation isn't complicated, but is tedious due to Honda leaving very little room to work. Not hard, but definitely inconvenient.
