I do basic maintenance on my car (change oil, plugs, filters) and, in contrast to past experiences, found that Advance has nicely improved its website-to-store experience. It was time to change my 1989 Honda Civic's fuel filter and Advance enticed me to buy with a coupon email. Click, pay with credit card, pick up at store, done. I also like its website, how I can "store" my cars on it, and the range of products and competitive prices (Advance had the best price for this item, and a conveniently located store nearby). I don't know about this filter's quality, but Purolator's a known name so let's hope it goes the 60,000 mile distance spec'd in my owner's manual. A word of caution: Be careful tightening the connectors on this filter -- gotta be tight enough to avoid leaks but too tight and you'll do damage, plus make it difficult to remove upon the next change (it's a pressure fitting). Finally, it'd be nice if Advance linked users to how-to-vidoes and other help sites for each product. I Googled "video how change 1989 Honda Civic fuel filter" and got a couple of useful hits. It'd be even better if such sources were right next to the product on Advance's website.

I have tried lots of fuel filters for my Honda CRX and this is the only one that doesn't clog easily like the white one with the tubbing commming in and out of the top or the filter melting (white plastic filter on the inside)like on the clear fuel filters you buy over the counter.
