• The Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP) provides manifold pressure information to the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The data is used to determine the air mass flow rate and required fuel for optimum combustion and ignition timing.

Edelbrock supercharger Kit No. 15663 for Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe and Yukon models equipped with a Gen V 5.3L V8 engine is a complete redesign of the previous kit featuring a manifold that now houses Eaton’s R2650 TVS rotor assembly along with a high-capacity Dual Pass 3-core intercooler system. The new rotors have a 170-degree high-twist lobe design with bigger bearings and beefier timing gears for unparalleled efficiency and OEM-like reliability.
