I use this on a 4x4 off-road. It's always a tough trade-off between the greaseable and non-greasable u-joints. The non-greaseable is stronger. There no hollow channel for the grease., but you can dry out the u-joints foe the front drive shaft, unless you remember to run you 4x4 in 4wd every week to keep the grease moving. I went with greaseable in front and non-greaseable in back. Hope it works.

This is the correct front axle U joint (not driveshaft or transfer case U-joint) for a Dana 50 IFS front axle in a 1996 Ford F250 with a Heavy Duty 4600lb Axle. The correct spindle nut socket to get to the U joint and to properly retorque the inner bearing is Performance Tool W1273 and was in stock at Advance Auto Parts. Great prices & in stock parts for heavy duty Ford trucks, a perfect combination !

NOBODY TELLS YOU THAT YOU NEED A GREASE NEEDLE FOR THIS LOW PROFILE FLUSH FITTING. A STANDARD GREASE GUN FITTING THAT THEY'VE BEEN USING FOR THE LAST 100 YEARS WONT WORK - NEED THE NEEDLE ADAPTER. That being said, Moog owns the patent on that flush fitting, so these are probably made by Moog....nice.

Replaced my old, OEM, nasty, worn out U-joints on my stock drive shaft at 125000 miles. The clips seemed like a snug fit but the kit comes with variety. I ended up picking the copper-colored ones. I installed them 1000 miles ago and no problems whatsoever.

Both u-joints were returned items with greasy hand prints, ratty boxes, and hammer marks where one had previously been installed. I kept the one that didn't show damage and had to drive to a different Advance to pick up the one for the other side since they only had the two dirty ones in stock.

Bought for front axles. One said "made in USA" other "made in Mexico". The USA one was ok. The Mexico unit had the end caps machined wrong. You will find it difficult to insert (Keeper)C clips. The guys in the store measured several units not just one. Stay away from the Mexico units. Told Advance to purge the stock.
