This crankcase breather repair kit directly replaces the crankcase breather element on specific vehicles. The separator can fail on its own, either by clogging, cracking, or having a separator bearing fail from age and wear, which is indicated by noise and vibration. Excessive oil mist from the gas outlet can also be a failed separator symptom. When any of those failures occur, you can replace the separator with this kit, reducing part costs and install time by not having to replace the lower housing on the engine block.
