The PowerBand construction allows multiple belts to function as a single unit, with even load distribution and each strand fitting securely in the sheave groove. Recommended for multiple V-belt drives exposed to pulsating or heavy shock loads which can make belts whip, turn over or jump off the drive.

Product Features:
  • Tie Band construction assures high lateral rigidity, guiding the belt in a straight line and preventing it from coming off the drive
  • High resistance to tensile and flexural forces, fatigue and shock loads offering high stability and smooth operation in the toughest units
  • Strong band controls belt-to-belt distance and prevents sideways bending
  • Proprietary Flex-Weave cover is a patented fabric construction, providing extended protection to the belt core from oil, contaminants and heat for longer belt life
  • Flex-Bond ropes are forged to the body of the belt, resist fatigue, impact and absorb bending stresses without deterioration of the rope
  • Meets or exceeds RMA standards for static conductivity and heat and oil resistance.
  • Temperature Range: -22 Deg. F to +140 Deg. F (+30 Deg. C to +60 Deg. C)
  • NOTE: Available in 3V, 3VX, 5V, 5VX, and 8V cross-sections
