Effective to approximately 6500 RPM when used with a point type distributor (depending on engine combination). Effective to approximately 8000 RPM when used with a Mallory HYFIRE electronic ignition control (depending on engine combination).

Mallory’s UNILITE (R), and magnetic breaker less ignition modules are self contained module assemblies which have no moving parts to wear out. Using Mallory’s time tested breaker less ignition circuit, combined with modern surface mount thermal-clad construction, these ignition modules can drive both OEM and high performance ignition coils. For best results always use a Mallory PROMASTER coil or a Mallory chrome electronic ignition coil. These are also an excellent choice for triggering one of the Mallory HyFire series of electronic ignition controls. Hookup is as easy as a three wire connection.

Most stock automatic transmissions won’t downshift into low gear above 15 mph, and automatically upshift at a predetermined speed no matter what gear you’re in. With the Transpak, you can downshift at any speed, and you can hold the transmission in first gear to any speed that you want! This is an asset when you’ve got a modified engine, and you want additional RPMs, or you’re towing a trailer or driving heavy loads downhill. Stage 1. Heavy Duty For street rods, normal passenger vehicles or other heavy duty use. Firmer shift feel but not harsh. Improves transmission performance and life dramatically without loss of comfort. Features include high tensile strength steel construction to resist elongation and cracking, 10.00 inch bolt pattern and comes with SFI 29.1 safety certification insuring the ultimate in safety and performance. The assembly is then Zinc plated and treated with a Chromate Conversion Coating for added corrosion resistance and durability.
