My 2011 Ford escape xlt 2.5l front wheel drive has multiple idler pulleys and they are all different. Advanced auto thinks there is just a smooth idler and grooved tensioner idler. As for my vehicle there is actually one smooth idler and TWO grooved idlers (one is on tensioner and the other is atop the waterpump). The 2 grooved idlers are not the same size from what i could tell. Putting the tensioner idler(grooved) where the other grooved idler goes will make the idler appear out of alignment with the rest because it is.

2004 Silverado 5.3 T motor. This pulley will work on OEM tensioner. The Dayco pulley will not work on OEM tensioner and it binds against the tensioner assembly. To make Dayco pulley work, you'll need to fabricate and use a washer to push pully away from tensioner. OR .. Just buy this one. See my other review for the 3.5 v6 with pics.

I just installed yesterday along with a belt tensioner/pulley and new belt. Appeared identical to the one being replaced and installed easily. Seemed quieter at idle than prior to replacement. Learned a lesson some years ago that when you replace a belt, especially one of the longer, wider, ribbed belts, to replace the tensioner and idler pulleys. I didn't do that and then a pulley failed and chewed up a new belt.

I installed the pulley on my 2013 Hyundai V and the factory washer (when tightened snuggley) prevents the pulley from spinning freely. This is a manufacture flaw for this pulley. It is not shaped the same as the factory one. Also, the diameter for the pulley is about half an inch smaller. How does anyone call that an "exact match". If you are going to install in your V, please remove the factory washer. I'm returning my pulley to the store right now.

When installing this on a Hyundai Veloster 2012 be sure to remove the retaining colar from the original bolt.
