    This carb was a simple bolt on. It made my modified AMC 258 six cylinder run perfectly with zero adjustments. I spoke with Edelbrock prior to purchase and they were very informative. I searched online and Advanced Auto offered the best pricing. I could not be happier.

    This carb fit directly to my 1965 pontiac GTO four barrel intake with only the gaskets and stiffener plate used. Car started and ran great with factory carb settings. Love it.

    72 Gran Torino 429ci Only thing that fit was the 4 mounting bolts to manifold, Linkage hits manifold and wont move, none of the connection are the same having to modify everything. I have been working on this carburator for 2 days still not hooked up, now according to manual I need to order a throttle lever kit, throttle cable plate, transmission linkage, new longer fuel lines the are on opposite side from original. will need to spend additional $100 to get this thing to work (I hope)

    I bought this carb for my SBC 350, on a 72 Nova. Fit up great to my Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold. If you are tossing between the Manual and Electric choke, just consider how much an electric choke costs to replace if and when it goes bad. I had tossed with getting the 650CFM, but finally decided on the 600 so I wouldn't go overkill on gas and hurt my performance. I must say this carb was the best solution. Replacing my Rochester style Quadrajet with this carb increased the performance quite a bit. Just follow the instructions with the carb, and enjoy it.

    Install the street avenger on my truck was fine for around 100 miles and then started smelling raw gas seen gas leaking from the secondary throttle shaft now have to send it in for warranty what a piece of trash

    I have a 1988 Ford Ranger with a highly modified 302 & have been using a model #1825 AVS Thunder 650 "off road" carb for over 10 years, but I recently decided to try the new AVS2 I've been hearing so much about. Wow! What a difference. The annular boosters are no joke! The AVS2 is a more streetable carb in my application! My truck is more responsive, smoother when pulling out, & gas mileage has improved. So far, I'm extremely pleased!

    Ordered this carb because the ad states it is a Q-jet carb same number even has the pic of a Q-jet but it is not. It is a AVS2 carb from edelbrock. Totally different design with fuel inlet on rear not front of carb. Wasted four days waiting on it, now back to square one. FALSE AD....
