    I purchased this item due to having a crack and a hole in the old one. Before long I ended up having to replace this product. I'm pretty sure that this product wasn't well thought-out. I replaced this item because of the cap. When properly checking the levels of coolant and removing air from the system I noticed that the cat scrapes around the mouth of the reservoir. The scraping takes layers of the plastic material off. As a result it causes a gap in between the reservoir mouth and cap. That leads to overheating. I am currently in the process of looking for different brand. Because I'm having to replace the defective Reservoir for the second time. If I could have gave the rating less than a star I would have.

    I replaced my old reservoir with this brand. Unfortunately approximately I had to return it for a warranty replacement. The cap scrapes /damages the outer rim of the reservoir when closing. It creates thin gaps between the cap and outer rim. The caps edges are sharp. The damage prevents the cap from adequately doing its job when under pressure. Ultimately it causes overheating. Apparently this brand is the only one being offered for my vehicle. If purchased make sure you keep an eye on it and be super careful when replacing, refilling, and bleeding.
