The only issue with the steering knuckle was, when putting the brake rotor back on, the outer bearing seat on the knuckle was machined a certain way, that is made it difficult to get the outer bearing onto the knuckle.

The 2 mounting holes to the strut were drilled about 1/16 " to far away from the strut. To make this part work, you will have to grind off about 1/16" from the surfact that contacts the strut at the top.

GM and Haynes *both* emphasise that the three bolts holding the bearing assembly to the knuckle MUST BE REPLACED! They are included with neither the knuckle nor the bearing -- nearly $400 and they can't include $4 worth of bolts -- and Advance doesn't even sell them! I now have to pay #100 to rent a car to go to the dealer to get $4 worth of bolts -- Wonderful!!!
