Changed my oil, ran my engine to check for leaks all good. Waited 30+ min to let everything cool down and changed the filter, ran the engine again and everything spurted out of the filter area only. Remove filter checked everything and there was no noticeable problem and filled the filter back up, then put it back on perfectly. Ran the engine again and same thing again. Long story short I put the old one back on and everything worked fine

When you get to the store they give you the wrong filter. They will give you a normal wix filter that is not the synthetic grade. To be a synthetic grade cross over it needed to be a wix XP filter. This is false advertising!!!!!

How did I use it?? I haven't yet because I'm not getting out there in 103/104 degree temperatures!! I think K&N has gone crazy putting something on the end of filter that you can put a regular open-end-box end wrench on because in my cases it won't work on a '97 Chevrolet Suburban because of where the filter is located unless you have a harness holding you in the air above the engine changing it that way!!🤣🤣🤣
