Looks and works like the OEM part. Only one problem! Every one of these SHOULD include the wiper motor arm and ball connector. Rain and saltwater from icy roads gets into that joint and erodes the ball on the end of the wiper motor arm. The rust on that end acts like sand and ruins the new part in short order!!! I wet sanded mine until it was smooth and used silicone grease as a lubricant and to help displace water in that connection. (the ONE plastic socket piece on my wiper transmission was the ONLY THING WRONG and was why I had to replace the entire assembly standing in my driveway at -10F

I have replaced this part twice now. The original transmission that was on the car (2003 buick century custom) lasted until last april (2011) and was american made(that's 8 model years). I replaced it with the Dorman OEM transmission in may and had to replace it again in september. Now I have to replace it again, and it's only january. One serious snow storm has happened here in Pittsburgh, and there wasn't even any snow on my windshield when I used my wipers and the transmission broke yet again. Garbage product, and needs to find a better quality materials provider. I'll continue to use the warranty though, at least AAP provides decent customer service.
