    I had to purchase item in a town 60 miles away to obtain it faster and when I got home found out the rack and pinion boots for vehicle were wrong size though website said it would match. I found out the boots purchased were about 1.8 inches Id and the ones needed were supposed to be about 2.2 inch Id to fit onto rack and pinion. I purchased this item for a 2004 Impala 3.4l base vehicle with fe1 suspension.. I am now having to figure out how to return these boots being quite a distance away.

    I read the dimensions and it was darn close to the 1995 corolla boot I just pulled off and much less money. The big end slips on with very minimal slack.So little that you must push it over the lip on the rack. Snugged up tight with supplied zip ties. The small end is perfect and quite snug without the zip tie. These drive works DW K 6298 were made of stretchy rubber not hard plastic. Leave the small end zip tie off or loose until you set the toe or you will need to twist the boot as it holds tight to the inner tie rod. The length was perfect on this also. Very happy and saved some coin.

    went on the rack & pinion really easy, nice and flexible so I didn't have to fight to get them on even in a tight space
