Fit perfect on a 2005 Town and country, note that you will need a muffler 2 1/4" clamp as well... best way to remove old muffler is to CUT the bolts off the old clamp with a cheap harbor freight 4" grinder and a cheap cutoff wheel (wear eye protection, especially when cutting).

Passing on some lessons learned. If you look at Walker schematic for 1981 - 1985 Astro/Safari vans with 4.3 there are some "gotchas". 1st is the "y" pipe # 40422. Note says "If O2 not used you need plug 35299". MY van has 02 sensor so I didn't get a plug. The hole in the "y" pipe is in the pipe at the "Y". On my 1987 the O2 screws into the LH exhaust manifold. So my guess is you will always need a plug regardless if for the older carb'd motors or the TBI's. This assumes carb'd engines don't use O2 and all TBI motors are like my 1987. (See Pics) 2nd is the Int Pipe #41350. It fits good to the walker cat #15556 but the other end that mates to the muffler is the exact same size as muffler #18230. I had to expand the Int Pipe to fit to the muffler. Since all Walker numbers I was hoping it would all slide together. In hind site I should have stretched teh muffler so the Int Pipe would slide "into" the muffler and not "over" the muffler nipple. Best practice for exhaust is the "upstream" pipe should insert "into the next exhaust pipe. 3rd is the hangers. My 87 Astro has 3 and walker only shows 1 by the tail pipe. Also, they show bracket #35358 but these are useless if not used with #36274 or #36272 Universal Hangers which are not listed. The last exhaust I did, I reused the OEM hangers. I ended up fighting all the Walker brackets to much and went back to the OEM brackets. 1 bracket was still usable, the other I brought to a local shop and had them weld on a 90 pice of flat stock. (see pics) 4th is shipping. They wrap the ends with bubble wrap, but it only keeps from scratching and still allows denting. The bubble probably protects other packages more than the exhaust pipes. Plan on buying or renting a basic expander tool to clean up shipping dings or clamp rings if reusing ay exhaust. (See pics) All in all, it wasn't too bad a job and maybe if I did exhaust for a living I would have done it faster or been able to use the Walker hangers.

So far so good, the old ones rusted through where the intermediate pipe is connected. The new one is stainless steel so hopefully should last longer.

Specific to the 2007 Impala SS - These are significantly quieter than the stock mufflers (less than 65dB when between the mufflers) and provide backpressure to the motor that smooths out acceleration and shifting. Pipe extensions are required to reach, and some grinding/welding is necessary to get them to fit onto the bend in the exhaust pipe (a guy posted a video installing these on an LTZ that is well done). The stock mufflers seemed not to have baffles, and then split on top to boot, so the resonance under the car was obnoxious (to me). The car is so quiet after installation (even revved) that the engine and front wheel tread noise is louder (bear this in mind if you like the engine rumble, because you will not get it!). Final note... save your exhaust pipe tips for reuse!

This has a great warranty, and should last the life of the vehicle. I would recommend it over the ones that only give you a 1 year warranty, because those do not last much more than that.
