2005 buick lesabre, this fitting is a direct swap of the original vertical fitting going into the transmission. Unsnap and slide black plastic cap down out of the way. I used a strait pick to remove the "c" clip that holds the line in place. Once removed carefully pull the line out and let fuid drain off. 19mm socket, extension and ratchet to remove fitting. The threads on the new one weren't as long but doesn't matter. New one comes with "c" clip in place, leave and screw into transmission tight as can be. Push the line into fitting and it will click into place. Replace black cap and you're done. Check fluid levels and check for leak at fitting.

The radiator on an LB7 has 2 transmission line connectors on the passenger side of the radiator. One line goes to the transmission cooler, and the other line goes to the transmission itself. This product is too small (about half the diameter) to be either connector on the radiator. I had better luck transfering the connectors from the old radiator to my new mishimoto radiator. Thread sealant and an o-ring replacement is a must.
